These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of cinemareframed.art and any purchase you make from Cinema Reframed ("we", "us", "our"). By browsing this store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the store.

1. Who we are

Cinema Reframed sells original film-inspired wall art, printed and framed to order.

2. Our artwork, and how it relates to films

Every piece sold here is original artwork created by us. Our work references, interprets or is inspired by films, characters, settings and cultural motifs. It is not a reproduction of any official poster, film still, promotional image or licensed design, and we do not reproduce studio logos, title treatments, billing blocks, trademarks or third-party copyrighted artwork.

Film titles and related terms appear in our listings for descriptive purposes only, so that customers can find work in a style or on a subject that interests them. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by or sponsored by any film studio, production company, distributor, or rights holder. All trademarks, copyrights and other rights in the films themselves remain the property of their respective owners.

Our products are not official merchandise and are not sold as such.

3. Intellectual property in our work

The artwork, images, text, layout and design of this store are owned by Cinema Reframed and are protected by copyright. Buying a print gives you ownership of that physical item. It does not transfer copyright or any licence to reproduce, resell, redistribute, scan, print, or use the artwork commercially, or to create derivative works from it.

4. Products, colour and size

We take care to show our work accurately, but screens vary. Colours, contrast and brightness on your monitor or phone may differ from the printed piece, and mockup images are representations rather than photographs of the item you will receive.

Sizes are nominal and refer to the print and frame dimensions stated on the listing. Minor variation in framing, mounting and trim is normal in made-to-order production.

5. Orders, prices and payment

All prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes or duties unless stated at checkout. Placing an order is an offer to buy; we accept it when we confirm the order or dispatch the item.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including where an item has been listed at an incorrect price or with an incorrect description because of a system, pricing or human error. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.

We may change prices at any time. Changes do not affect orders we have already accepted.

6. Made to order, production and shipping

Our pieces are produced individually after you order, by our print partner, and then shipped to you. Production typically takes several business days before dispatch, and delivery time depends on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout.

Timeframes shown anywhere on this store are estimates, not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or events outside our reasonable control.

Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. Where an order ships internationally, you are the importer of record and are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or handling fees charged in your country.

7. Changes, cancellations, returns and damage

Because each piece is produced specifically for you, we can normally only change or cancel an order before production begins. Contact us as soon as possible and we will do what we can.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photographs of the item and its packaging. We will replace it or refund it. Our Refund Policy forms part of these Terms and sets out the full details.

Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this store for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation or security, to scrape or copy its content for a competing service, or to submit false or fraudulent order information.

9. Third parties

This store runs on Shopify and orders are fulfilled by a third-party print provider. Payment processing, hosting and fulfilment are handled by those providers under their own terms. Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how it is shared to fulfil your order.

We may link to other sites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The store and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to any order or to your use of this store will not exceed the amount you paid for the order concerned, and we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits or lost data.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the store or our artwork.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The courts located in Georgia will have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
