REVENGE OF THE NERDS INSPIRED VAN GOGH STYLE WALL ART
Four of them outside, the whole party inside, and the sky doing all the talking.
Heavy impasto in cobalt and gold. Four young men stand with their backs to us on a dark lawn — short sleeves, a plaid shirt, a striped polo, glasses catching the light — looking up at a white-columned house blazing with warm light, people leaning over the balcony rail with their arms in the air.
Above it all a Van Gogh sky: spiralling stars, a vast haloed moon, and the dark mass of a tree cutting into the left edge. The contrast is the whole picture — cold swirling blue outside, molten orange inside, and four figures standing in the gap between them.

WHY VERTICAL ART WORKS
A tall piece draws the eye up and makes a wall feel higher than it is. One of
these over a console table, a bed or a sideboard fills the space a gallery wall
would, without putting nine holes in the plaster.
ROOMS IT SUITS
Home theater and media room · living room · finished basement · bar corner ·

A GIFT THAT LANDS
For the friend who quotes this one at you, the one with the projector in the
basement, or a film student's first real wall. Housewarming, birthday,
Father's Day, Christmas.
CARE
Hang out of direct sunlight to keep the blacks deep for decades. Dust with a
dry, soft cloth.
